Gamer Galaxy: "Pimp City"
Pimp City

For the average college student, the scary, sexy world of pimps and prostitutes is far away (or at least across town over by USC). Likewise, board games are a pastime from childhood and family vacations.
But now, “Pimp City” is bringing the two together.
Like a sexed-up “Monopoly,” “Pimp City” lets players roll the dice and prance around the board “turning tricks” (taking turns) and exchanging money for various, ahem, “services.” No double standards here: Players can use a male or female figurine wearing tight, curve-hugging or bulge-hugging clothing.
The goal of the game is to become the new “Pimp Daddy” by, of course, earning the most money. As with “Monopoly,” you can buy property and earn rent – in a twist, any player landing on your territory makes money too, but you get to split the profits.
A highlight of the game is the “Alley,” an area where an unlucky die roll will scuttle you into a dark place where terrible things happen.
Just like passing “Go” in Monopoly, if you make your way around the board, you get a cool $200 – but to earn it, you have to shout, “Pay up, biotch! Where’s my money?!”
It gets better: If you land on a pink penalty area, you can take a truth-or-dare challenge. This is as good an excuse as any to get ahead and start drinking.
So yes, this is a game for the mature – or maybe it’s the other way around. Jokes about sexually transmitted infections and sexual positions abound (“Get Sassy with The Big Pimp Daddy. Lose $200,” reads one penalty card); this is not a game you can take home to mom and dad.
The problem with the game is that it is, unfortunately, a bit more complicated than old favorites such as “Monopoly” or “Life.” This makes it hard to play with a few drinks under your belt, much less teach new potential pimp daddies the rules of the street. And obviously it’s more than a little risque, but if that doesn’t bother you, “Pimp City” is tons of fun.
