The Pauley Pavilion renovation project may displace some athletic teams, including the men’s basketball team, for at least a year, leading to the possibility of using other host venues in Los Angeles for a season or more. The project will be primarily funded by donations, which are in the process of being sought through solicitations to leaders in the community.
